Accessibility Statement

1. The standard we follow

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the standard referenced by the EU Web Accessibility Directive and by Israeli Standard 5568. We currently consider the site partially conformant: most of the interface meets the standard, with the exceptions listed below.

2. What we have implemented

  • Full keyboard operation — every control, menu, carousel and dialog can be reached and used with Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space, the arrow keys and Escape.
  • A clearly visible focus ring on every interactive element, never removed.
  • Semantic HTML with landmarks, headings in order, and labelled buttons and form fields.
  • Text and interface colours checked for contrast against their background at the ratios WCAG requires for normal and large text.
  • Icons that are decorative are hidden from screen readers; icons that carry meaning have a text alternative.
  • Full support for both left-to-right and right-to-left reading, with per-string direction so game titles in another script are not scrambled.
  • Respect for the operating-system "reduce motion" setting: the hero carousel, hover effects and other animation are suppressed when it is enabled.
  • A responsive layout that works from small phones to large desktops, and remains usable at 200% browser zoom.
  • No audio or video that starts automatically with sound, and no flashing content.
  • Live regions so new chat messages are announced without moving your place on the page.

3. Known limitations

Two areas are not fully under our control:

  • Embedded games. Games are supplied by third parties and run inside an iframe. Many are canvas-based and may not be keyboard accessible, may not work with a screen reader and may have poor colour contrast. We cannot modify them. We label each game with a text title and description outside the frame so you can identify it before playing.
  • Third-party advertising. Where advertising is displayed, its markup comes from the ad provider and may not meet the standard.

We are progressively reviewing our own catalogue and will prioritise games that are known to be accessible.

4. Assistive technology we test with

We test with current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, together with NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, using keyboard-only navigation and browser zoom.

5. Feedback and contact

If you meet a barrier on Woplay, or need content in a different format, please tell us. Write to privacy@woplay.co and describe the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you use. We aim to respond within 7 business days and to fix confirmed issues as quickly as we reasonably can.

6. Enforcement

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the accessibility supervisory body in your country — for example the Commission for Equal Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Israel, or the national enforcement body designated under the EU Web Accessibility Directive.
